WinLIMS.net is offered in both the traditional client and server setup or as a web based system.  In addition, they now offer access to their software via a monthly fee.  Providing access via software as a service (SaaS) allows smaller to medium sized labs to access this powerful tool.

A few of the standard features of this software are:

• Sample specification management (raw material, finished product, etc)

• Single sample, batch sample or automatic scheduled sample login

• Sample labels generated at login (allows for bar-coding a sample's ID)

• Results entry by sample, method or even transferred from Excel

• Optional results validation to track peer review, if required

• Approval by sample or batch

• Results graphing feature to spot trends in data

• Event triggered reporting or actions (for example automatically print a sample label at login or automatically generate a C of A upon sample approval)

• Even triggered e-mails
