Rescentris offers a solution for research and development labs: Collaborative Electronic Research Framework (CERF).  This electronic laboratory notebook is updated twice a year to keep up with ever changing trends in R&D.  CERF is designed for use in biology labs in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries, so it meets 21 CFR Part 11 requirements.

This software is currently in use pharmaceutical, biotech, governmental and university labs.  This software can be run on an in house server or used online through an offsite server.
